Victory! Utah Bill to Punish Miscarriage Withdrawn!

Utah representative Carl Wimmer withdrew the bill he had sponsored to punish women who lose their pregnancies. The New York Times coverage sites a "firestorm of anxiety and criticism from abortion rights and women’s advocacy groups" and links back to a previous article quoting NAPW's Executive Director who speaks to the point that pregnant women need empathy and support, not punitive laws.
